Meet Passionate and Personable Keila

Keila Mendoza joined the CVC team as a Resource Navigator in August 2021. Keila is passionate about her work and very personable. In her role, Keila helps residents find housing and jobs and connects them with benefits assistance and community resources.

Keila has brought new ideas around housing opportunities and technology accessibility to CVC. She’s a graduate student at the University of Denver studying Nonprofit Leadership and received her bachelor’s degree in social work at Hope College in Holland, Mich.

Keila is committed to creating long-lasting systemic change for people who have intersectional and complex trauma. “I am grateful for the opportunity to continuously learn and work alongside people who also value empathy, centering residents’ voices, and finding innovative solutions to social problems," Keila said.

We are fortunate to have Keila on our team!
